Week Round Up

It was another great week in the premier League as top spot changed hands and everyone was fighting for position and survival.

On Tuesday half the match's were played and we started off with Manchester United just about staying in the fight for the top four spots with a 2:0 win against Cardiff with a strong Juan Mata debut.

Next Norwich and Newcastle played out a goal less draw and pre leaders Aresenal dropped crucial points in the title race with a 2:2 drew at St.Mary's.  Swansea beat Fulham 2:0 and Crystal palace  got a crucial foothold in the relagation battle with a 1:0 win against the Tigers.

Liverpool finished the day off with a sensational 4:0 Merseyside derby win against Everton.

On Wednesday the rest of the games were played.  West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa started everything off with a sensational 4:3 win for Aston Villa from 2 goals down in the first 9 minutes.

It was frustration for the Blues as well as Aresenal when they drew 0-0 against West Ham United with Jose Mourinho  complaining that West Ham played '18th centuary football.'

Sunderland beat Stoke 1:0 but the big game that everyone's talking about is Manchester City grabbing their chance to go top with a 5:1 thy easing of Tottenham Hotspur.  They were leading in the 15th minute through Servio Aguero, (surprise suprise!) and with 4 different goal scorers in the second half for City, Capou was the only one who could get a consallation for Hotspur.  Tim Sherwood might have to perk up if he wants to stay in the job!
